How this calculator works
Choose the amount and the source and target currencies. The converter multiplies your amount by the latest available daily reference rate. Swap reverses the selected pair; Retry rate requests fresh data.
Frankfurter supplies daily reference rates, not live trading quotes. The reference date appears below the result. Banks, card networks and transfer services may use different rates and add fees or a spread.
The formula is converted amount = source amount × exchange rate. For example, if a reference rate were 1 EUR = 1.10 USD, €100 would convert to $110 before fees. This example is illustrative, not a current quote.
Common questions
Are these live foreign-exchange prices?
No. These are daily reference rates. The result shows the reference date, which can be earlier than today on weekends or holidays.
Does the result include bank fees?
No. The estimate excludes transfer charges, card fees and currency-exchange spreads.
